Join us Tuesday, 8/11, noon to 1:30pm for an informational/educational webinar to assist you with optimizing your irrigation.

Important considerations to make toward your current irrigation practices:
• Unused irrigation run-off that enters streams can negatively affect aquatic wildlife due to high water temperatures and elevated nutrient levels.
• You don’t have to use all your allocated water to maintain your water right. You do need to irrigate all water-righted land at least once every five years.

Best Management Practices to start or consider now:
• Prioritize maintenance of flood irrigation ditches to improve distribution & efficiency of irrigation efforts.
• Work toward even distribution of irrigation water to increase crop yields and reduce weeds.
