Dear Colleagues, 

The COVID-19 pandemic is first and foremost a human tragedy, infecting more than 120,000 and killing more than 4,200 people as of March 12, 2020. The loss of human life is heart-breaking.

This pandemic is causing an unprecedented economic downturn, and businesses big or small are likely to bear the brunt of it.
 
The virus has also hit society like a global tsunami, disrupting travel, cutting off communities, shuttering factories, and shaking up economic markets. The global manufacturing sector has suffered its worst while airlines and cruise lines are reeling as people opt to stay home.

With the pandemic potentially triggering a global economic slowdown, our leaders are already looking for ways to shore up our countries’ economies.

Similarly at Brahim’s Dewina Group of Companies, we are not spared of this tragedy.  Nevertheless, I am confident that each company in the group has placed its strategy to recover quickly and surely!

Let us all put our hearts and soul together, regardless of how challenging it may be to stay strong together and recover our businesses.  I trust with your teamwork and hard work as always we will make it again, with Allah’s blessings!  InShaAllah.

This July as always is a special month for Brahim’s Dewina Group of Companies.  Brahim’s brand celebrating its 32nd Anniversary and Dewina Food Industries celebrating its 34th Anniversary.

I thank you all and your families for your untiring support and dedication towards the success of Brahim’s!

Pertama sekali, pandemik COVID-19 adalah satu tragedi manusia yang telah menjangkiti lebih dari 120,000 orang dan membunuh lebih daripada 4,200 orang pada 12 Mac 2020. Kehilangan nyawa manusia sangat menyayat hati.

Pandemik ini telah menyebabkan kemerosotan ekonomi yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya, dan perniagaan besar atau kecil menanggung kesannya.

Virus ini juga melanda masyarakat seperti tsunami global, mengganggu perjalanan, memutuskan komuniti, menutup kilang dan menggegarkan pasaran ekonomi. Sektor pembuatan global telah mengalami situasi yang terburuk sementara syarikat penerbangan dan kapal pesiaran mengalami kemerosotan ketika orang memilih untuk tinggal di rumah.

Dengan kejadian wabak yang berpotensi mencetuskan kelembabpan ekonomi global, para pemimpin sudah mencari cara untuk memulihkan ekonomi negara kita.

Begitu juga di Kumpulan Syarikat Brahim’s Dewina, kita tidak terhindar dari tragedi ini. Walaupun begitu, saya yakin bahawa setiap syarikat dalam kumpulan telah meletakkan strategi untuk pulih dengan segera dan pasti!

Marilah kita bersatu hati dan jiwa, tidak kira betapa mencabarnya untuk terus kuat dan pulihkan perniagaan kita semula.

Saya percaya dengan kerja berpasukan dan kerja keras anda semua kita akan berjaya lagi, dengan restu Allah! Insya Allah.

Bulan Julai seperti biasa adalah bulan istimewa bagi Kumpulan Syarikat Brahim’s Dewina. Jenama Brahim’s meraikan ulang tahun ke-32 dan Dewina Food Industries meraikan ulang tahun ke-34.

The Overview: Halal Assurance System by Halal Academy

 

A 3-hour online training course using Zoom Apps was conducted on 16 April 2020 by Halal Academy Company (Halal Professional Board of JAKIM) on Halal Assurance System.  

The topics involved were: Description of Halal Assurance System, the Malaysia Halal Assurance Management System Guidelines, and ways on how to start to develop Halal Assurance System.

Trainer for the course was Madam Hardiyanti Ben, a  Professional Board-Certified Trainer; HRDF Certified Trainer from Halal Academy.

During the course, DCSB’s representative gains new knowledge and skills and also able to promote DCSB’s services among the participants.

DCSB’s representative was Miss Nor Azreena Aznan.

Program ini merupakan program penghargaan syarikat kepada pelanggan. Menu yang disajikan adalah berlainan dari menu harian dan ianya disediakan didalam dewan makan. Selain daripada menu harian, siri kali ini disediakan pada waktu makan tengahari antara pilihan set pencuci mulut adalah Waffle, Sweet Corn, Jejari Keledek, Cucur Sayur dan Cucur Jagung. Program ini melibatkan semua cluster di Central Region.

It’s quite a milestone to impress a curry-loving Malaysian and we guess the Japanese market did it because our curry impressed them!

Enter this Japanese store, known for its minimalist-inspired products and for the wide variety of products they sell, which now sells curry!
