Two weddings on Saturday!

We are delighted that two of the weddings at All Saints that were postponed from May are now able to take place tomorrow 4 July. Do please be praying for Phoebe Dingemans and Harry Paget and Sarah Kelly and Ed Hargin as they marry. Ordinarily, Church family might have liked to come and support these couples, but due to current regulations, the weddings are strictly invite only for the couples’ families.

All Saints Mission Support

Please continue to pray for our Mission Partners who, like us all, are impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Coronavirus is spreading among the world’s poorest communities and All Saints Mission Partners need extra prayer and financial support at this time.

This week's Mission Partner Focus: Redeeming OurCommunities (ROC) and Paul Wilson

Give thanks for the way that the Holy Spirit has been working through ROC in the present crisis. ROC has been busy mobilising Action Groups; helping bring many churches, community groups and statutory agencies together to coordinate responses to the lockdown and join forces to plan the way ahead.

Praise God for the new ROC Tele-Mentors scheme that has been launched in a number of sites across the country including here in Mid-Sussex. Many families have been affected by the lockdown. Isolation and loneliness has increased and there has been an increase in domestic abuse calls to the police.

ROC Tele-Mentors provide 10 weeks of mentoring support to families, delivered via Zoom, Face Time, What’s App and telephone. This is to help them through the present crisis and build a positive platform for the future. Do pray for the success of the scheme, that the right families are referred and for the volunteers who are supporting them, that the hope and peace of Christ would touch the lives of all those taking part.

Please pray for ROC’s staff – for Debra Green who heads up the charity, for Paul Wilson who leads on ROC’s mentoring programme and for all the leadership team as they continue to seek the best way to respond to the current crisis. Pray for those staff who are furloughed, pray for health, strength and peace for all involved.

Pray for the ROC Family Mentoring projects already up and running including here in Lindfield and Haywards Heath. Please  pray for the families being supported many of whom have found lockdown tough, for Project Coordinators including Ingrid Skillicorn for strength, guidance and for wisdom as they build renewed and refreshed links with local agencies to recommence the process of referring local families.

Pray for new ROC projects about to launch in Aylesbury in the coming weeks and for ongoing discussions in Milton Keynes, Shropshire and in Northern Ireland about the launch of further ROC Family projects.
