As we reflect on the past few months and the challenges that so many face, we hope that there is an opportunity to pause and take a breath. Wherever you are and however you are able to safely relax this weekend. If you didn't have time to plan a signature cocktail, we have you covered. Without further adieu we would like to share our recipe for: 

Bourbon Iced Tea (with Limoncello!)



Ingredients
  • 1/2 oz Bourbon (your preference, but we are excited to pre-order from this Back-owned start-up, distilling Kentucky Bourbon)
  • 1/2 oz Limoncello
  • 4 oz Freshly brewed Earl Grey iced tea 
  • Lemon wheel and mint sprig for garnish
Instructions
  • Mix bourbon and limoncello in a tall glass
  • Add ice
  • Top with iced tea
  • Mix wella Back-owned start-up is distilling Kentucky Bourbon
  • Garnish with lemon wheel and serve
This is so delicious that you might as well make a pitcher and share but please be safe and drink responsibly.

Award Focus: Grants to support economic development, foster job creation, and attract private investment in economically distressed areas of the United States. Flexible funds to advance economic development in communities negatively impacted by COVID-19.  
 
Eligible Entities: Organizations, Indian tribes, and state or local government agencies are eligible to apply.

The Center for Health, Environment and Justice–Small Grants Program

Award Focus: Support grassroots, community organizing groups build leadership, increase capacity, and provide training and education. The program is designed to especially reach people from low-wealth communities and communities of color who are impacted by environmental harms. Grant activities can include board development, membership outreach, and fundraising efforts.

Eligible Entities: Grassroots communities of color, low wealth, rural and urban groups are encouraged to apply.
