What Work is Taking Place?
From Sunday June 28 – Tuesday July 7, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will work overnight to install the permanent catch basins on Eglinton Avenue East at Mount Pleasant Road. This work requires rolling lane closures. Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place. To minimize impact to the travelling public, this work will be performed overnight, when traffic is lighter.
Work will take place between 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. During this time, noise from construction equipment, such as an excavator, hydro-vacuum, trucks, and generators, as well as site lighting can be expected. Crews will endeavour to minimize disruption as much as possible. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.

• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
