Friday Update

3rd July 2020

Cut Flowers

We've had rain, we've had sun and the flowers have loved it!
Each year we grow our own cut flowers from seed to sell in the shop. Like the vegetables, they are seasonal so at the moment we have bunches of Sweet Peas (£2.50), Mixed flowers (£4.50) and Sunflowers (sold individually) for sale.
The contents of the mixed bunches change as the summer progresses and we will soon starting adding fabulous bunches of Dalias to the range.

Filbert's of Dorset

Philada, Mark and Freya run this bee-based business producing natural skincare, polish, wax and candles in small batches. Mark is a hugely knowledgeable bee-keeper and breeder with hives across the county. The wax and propolis from the hives is used to make salves and rubs, furniture and boot polish, soaps and candles.
Our favourites are the Farm Hand and rose & bergamot Cuticle Butter, both a must for anyone working with their hands in the soil (or too much hand washing!).
Most of the range is available from the farm shop.
