This summer, as we begin to prepare for the High Holiday season, our hearts, minds and lives are likely full of unique questions, concerns and unknowns. Join Rabbi Solomon for study and reflection stimulated by the work of Rabbi Alan Lew, This Is Real and You Are Completely Unprepared. Rabbi Lew, z”l of blessed memory, was one of Rabbi Solomon’s most significant meditation teachers, and in this book Rabbi Lew guides us from the hottest days of summer, peeking at Tisha B’Av through to Sukkot.
The weekly Lunch & Learn will draw on texts from This Is Real and our own lives. The first meeting is on July 8th, and you can download the first excerpt here.
Each week there will be a link in the e-news to download the excerpt that will be discussed at the following meeting. Alternatively, you can purchase a hardback copy from TBI. The price is $18 and must be paid by cash (exact amount) or with a check. Please email Nina for more information.
