This week I watched the film Disclosure and it blew me away, made me sad, made me thoughtful, and made me feel so inspired by the Trans men and women who shared their stories onscreen. SO so good. I also found Brené Brown's interview with Laverne Cox to be really excellent.

I can't be the only person who laughed hysterically (alone in my apartment) while reading this story.

This week I finished two great books. The Fire Next Time is a classic by James Baldwin told in two thoughtful essays about racial injustice in America. Trick Mirror is a collection of essays from Jia Tolentino which I found to be thought-provoking and interesting.

I tried avocado dyeing for the first time this week and it was so much fun! I dyed two white linen curtain panels and they came out the most adorable shade of pink. Here are the instructions I followed.

My boyfriend and I went to the drive-in movie theatre last week and it was such a fun quarantine activity! I was pleased to see that there's a new drive-in opening up right here in Toronto.

Suuuuper inspired by the Supreme Court's decision on abortion this week. That makes three liberal decisions on a majority-conservative court in just a few weeks! As Martin Luther King Jr. said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

A new-to-me Instagram account that I love.

I did an Instagram Live this week to talk about my coaching program and got to chat with past members about their experiences. It was so much fun!! You can watch it here if you're interested.

Last but not least, pure joy.

Thanks for reading! See you next week.

How was your week! This one felt longer than others lately, probably because it was more full with calls, plans, a one-day business "retreat", fireworks and long walks in the park. This weekend I'm planning to take it easy, do lots of reading (which I seem to finally have the bandwidth for again after a few months of my nervous system being too fried to concentrate) and hope to get myself to a beach for some swimming! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
