​Planning Technician - Community Development Department

​The Town of Raymond, NH seeks an individual for a full-time, non-exempt position for Planning Technician.  Under the primary direction of the Town Manager, this employee performs a variety of professional planning and related duties in support of the municipal efforts for planning, zoning, economic development, capital investment planning; health and other code development activities; providing staff support for Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment and Technical Review Committee meetings.  The ideal candidate would possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in urban planning or a closely related field; or at least three (3) years of experience as a Planning Technician or similar position is preferred.  

​A valid driver’s license is required.  Individuals will be subject to a background check. Competitive wage and benefits package. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.73/hour  to $25.30/hour DOQ.  The Town of Raymond is an EOE.

  Cemetery Sexton

The Town of Raymond is accepting applications for the position of Cemetery Sexton.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the sale of plots, locating, and marking grave-sites, tracking of interments, maintaining burial records and the coordination of burials for all activities at Town cemeteries.

Individual  will work under the general supervision of the Town Manager and Director of Public Works. Job duties are reviewed through monthly meetings, observance of work performed, and feedback from residents.
