Solidarity Economies Session #4

Replacing Growth with Belonging Economies

Wed 8 Jul 6:00pm

Dear <<First Name>>,

With the upheaval of the last year, most of us are asking how we can change the systems that have led us into crisis, and build a better way of doing things as we come out the other side.

AFSA's Solidarity Economies Sessions share knowledge and practical examples to support transformative change towards a new and better normal. So far, we've talked CSAs, co-operatives, and how technology sovereignty can support movements for change.

Solidarity Economies Session #4 - Replacing Growth with Belonging Economies.

We're back this Wed 8 Jul for Session #4, stting down with Artist as Family to look at how we can build radically regenerative economies by replacing growth with belonging in our home and community economies.

Register for this session.

What does a home economy look like when we replace a growth & money focus with emphasis on connection, community, sharing and values? Meg and Patrick will talk to us about how they've done just this, and how they're working to build the antidote to cultures of infinite growth and disposability.

We hope you'll join us and bring your ideas, experiences, and questions for this thought-provoking session, including a Q&A with our guests and host Tammi Jonas - you can sign up here.

If you are interested in supporting solidarity economies, small-scale farmers, and food sovereignty, being an AFSA member is a great way to start - it is our members who provide the mandate and the support for the work we do to advocate for everyone's right to decide their own food system. If you're not a member yet, you can join us here.
