Head to the CBG patio instead for a Cookout Plate with your choice of a cheeseburger, veggie burger or twin hotdogs with chips, potato salad, and three sticky garlic soy sauce wings. Fun starts at 11 a.m. Remember the EDL rules: tip generously and wear a mask except at the table.

We hereby declare this the summer of the slushie, aka frozen cocktails. Maine Craft Distilling has one that they change according to whim and want. Could be a Cosmo, could be something else equally delicious. Go see what's slushing today, noon to 8 p.m.

The Maine Coast Fishermen's Association is doing its part to keep us properly distanced with the reminder to stay one fathom apart. Their limited edition t-shirt is made by Loyal Citizen, and you can order it online. The money raised will go towards MCFA's efforts to support Maine fishermen as they navigate the pandemic. FYI, one fathom equals two yards equals six feet.
