Stages will vary in difficulty and may affect individual mileage - we recommend that you bring extra rounds for each gun.

This 4th of July, The Georgia Mountain Shooting Association presents the Gauge Rage Shotgun Showdown, a 3-Gun style SHOTGUN ONLY match to kick off your holiday weekend with a bang.

Cost is $20 for most, $15 for GMSA members. Set Up Crew shoots for free.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO INSURE SQUAD SIZE LIMIT OF 10 SHOOTERS EACH with 30 total spots open.

There will be 5 stages, plans for each will be posted here at least 1 week prior to the match.
Minimum round count for each stage will be 20-25 birdshot, #7.5 or smaller, 150 total rounds birdshot may suffice.
There will be 2 or 3 slug shots as well.

There will be a Jungle Run.
There will be aerial clays.
There will be a hand thrown clay.
There will be two spinners on one stage.

There will be smoke in the air, lead in the dirt, and blue on the shoulder.

The 3 Divisions for this match will be:

Open

Tac Ops (No optics, No comps, 9 round starting load)

Pump (Pump action, No optics, No comps, 9 round starting load)

Shooters may compete in more than one division. Register on Practiscore only once, just pay twice onsite and get 2 score sheets.

COVID PRECAUTIONS: Pre-registration is required. If you register and decide you cannot make it, PLEASE WITHDRAW FROM MATCH AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE HAND SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN TAKE YOUR SPOT.

ALSO, payment will still be onsite, but we will not congregate for a pre-match
Shooters Meeting. instead the meeting will be done with your squad. Proceed directly to the starting bay for your squad to pay. The squad you sign up for will be your squad day of match.

THERE WILL BE NO PRE-MATCH STAGE WALK THROUGHS. You will have time to walk each stage before your squad shoots it.

Please bring the Personal Protective Equipment that you are comfortable with.
Each squad will have hand sanitizer provided. Shooters should remain 6 feet from one another whenever possible.

GMSA is a COLD RANGE, all firearms must remain completely unloaded until directed otherwise by a Range Officer.
