DUE TO AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION REGARDING COVID-19 AND WITH DEEPEST REGRETS, THE ST. JAMES HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY IS CANCELING ALL OF OUR REGULAR FUNCTIONS FOR THE BALANCE OF THE YEAR.
THIS INCLUDES THE BARBECUE IN JULY, THE EXHIBITION IN AUGUST AND THE POT LUCK SUPPER IN SEPTEMBER.
General meetings of the ST. JAMES HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY are held the 3rd Tuesday in the months of January, February, March, April, October and November, at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the STEVENSON-BRITTANIA SCHOOL located at 1777 Silver Avenue. Elevator service is available. Parking is available on the front street and back lot.

SJHS SILVER AVENUE GARDEN PLOTS.
Please be aware that you are expected to respect
social distancing guidelines while at the gardens. Thank you!
Many thanks to The Winnipeg Foundation for the grant which was awarded enabling us to updateand improve the gardening activities at the Silver Avenue Gardens. This will include improvements to our aging irrigation system and possibly a lawn mower and a much needed face lift to the property. The gardens are maintained and governed by SJHS volunteer board and garden committee.
