So the cycle has turned already and before we are ready we find ourselves heading for the second part of the year. The seasons already divided by the passing Solstice of June and beckoning us forward to the latter half. For us in the Northern aspect we have the Harvest yet to come as we dive into the darker times and Winter months. For the Southern aspect in hibernation and nestling the spring energy upon the dawning months ahead. But for now we are here, squarely and firmly in a time betwixt movement, where growth is in full flow and we find ourselves in stasis.

As I write here in the UK it’s a typical gloomy day where the lights need to be lit to see past the grey sky and heavy rain laden window. The Essence of Avalon Apothecary herb garden is abundant with the herbs impatiently waiting to be harvested but in pause due to the inclement weather. However the garden is arms open wide at the rains as they fall upon the parched earth from last week’s heat wave that fuelled the growth. In typical manor the weather here is a yoyo of being, but I wouldn’t have it any other way as it’s so dramatic and moody and just so terribly British.

Lots of projects are underway and looking forward to talking more in depth as they come into fruition. The current situation with the pandemic has been very odd for me, as a Divine Channel its weighted very heavily and sent me into a depressive place of isolation. Don’t confuse depression with depressive place as they are two very differing states of mind, but wow the weight of Covid-19 and the passing of so many souls has been nearly unbearable. The Flame has been lit constantly to ensure safe passage of those crossing. My door is always open to anyone in need and I’m here to support all I can if you need an ear or shoulder or just to have listen.

Lockdown has been a real ride for me. As a vulnerable person I have to take care with contact and my social distancing is very limited and as such I have made the decision that I won’t be venturing to the Fares and Markets I had planned with the Sisterhood stall for the rest of 2020. Also the Veil House will remain closed for public access for the duration and sadly no Divine Feminine monthly circles are planned at least until early next year.

So with all of the changes we have faced and the burdens we have had to carry this year, it’s been an odd one hasn’t it? Odd in its feel and movement and origins. So much shifting, the world is in crumbles and delicate state and we can make a difference to her being. We have to learn to step out of the human and to become a part of She. To waken to her breath as we align our to hers that is where the true healing takes place. Find a moment every day just to connect and to become and to listen to her needs, to find a way to action it and to become it as it integrates into your daily living.

But most of all heal, heal yourself from within, around you in the spaces where you dwell and with those you love most of all.
 

Application is now open for the Priestess Distance learning training that begins in February 2021. Application will close in September or before is all places are allocated.
