Happy Sunday.
As we head further into July we thought it would be a great time to introduce you to another member of our goCINCO team! Me!
My name is Dyanna Garcia and I run the newsletter for the goCINCO team. Oregon has been my home for most of my life, though I consider Buenos Aires, Argentina the second home of my heart after living there as an exchange student. I have lived on both sides of this beautiful state in both the Portland Metro area and in a farming community half way between Pendleton and Walla Walla, WA. Though I did not grow up on a farm, much of my extended family are farmers or ranchers and I have personally watched them struggle to make a living. Seeing that so much of what they produced locally was, and still is, being shipped out of their area while the produce in our own local grocery stores was coming from out of state or even out of country, sometimes for the exact some items, just didn't make sense to me.
Enter goCINCO! This is a concept that I was so excited to find ways to support. Local producers getting their quality products into the hands of local consumers and restaurants, while also offering the convenience of having it delivered to homes and businesses, Yes! Especially in a time where, if you are like me, we are concerned about the safety and health of our families from just going to the grocery store.
The focus of the newsletter is to help you get to know our producers, our goCINCO team, and highlight the great products that we have available. If you have thoughts I am always open to how to make this experience better for you.
Please email us your thoughts and suggestions!
Have a great week!!
Dyanna
