We may not think about it often, but the United States is a vast country just waiting to be explored. We are so fortunate to have such incredible landscapes right outside our doors.

From redwood forests in Northern California to the deserts and canyons of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, our country is home there are natural wonders that people around the world travel to that we overlook or forget about. Have you seen Niagara Falls in person? Have you explored Mammoth Caves in Kentucky? Have you explored the lesser-known parks, beaches, and landmarks that are a quick drive away from you?

I admit: I don’t always think about these places at my first vacation idea either, but remember that any change of pace and scenery is a good thing. There are many places in this country rich with history and beauty that I haven’t had the chance to visit. I’d love to help you start crossing those states and landmarks off your travel list.

Summer is in full swing, and with it comes little moments that we love. Kids are running through backyard sprinklers. Our favorite warm-weather meals roasting on the grill. We’ve dusted off the campfire sticks to practice our marshmallow roasting skills and make s’mores!

Though, for some of us, summer is about one thing: the beach!

There is nothing like the sound of the waves rolling in as they crash upon the sand or watching the palm tree leaves sway overhead from our towel or lounge chair. Luckily, there is hope for a future spent on white-sand beaches, sipping tropical drinks with tiny umbrellas.

Many islands and destinations in the Caribbean have begun to reopen to travelers! Destinations like the Bahamas, Jamaica, and even Aruba are once again welcoming vacationers.

I am excited and encouraged by this careful and slow reopening of destinations because I know that many of you are looking forward to traveling again. I also know that you may have questions and concerns about health and safety precautions when it comes to planning your next trip.
