#JustEnergyAcademy
On August 10, 2019, 17 outstanding participants graduated from the inaugural Just Energy Academy (JEA). Congratulations JEA participants on your great work! During this seven-month training, participants had the opportunity to fully engage in dialogue about racial equity, energy equity, climate justice and energy policies that impact their communities and throughout Georgia.
#TransFormationAcademy

From August 5-9, the Just Growth Team led14 teenage students through the TransFormation Alliance Youth Academy curriculum that PSE developed to help further equip young people as equity leaders and change agents in their communities, specifically around equitable transit-oriented development.

#AUCCMeetsPSC
GA PSC Visits AUCC
On August 6, the Just Energy Team was proud to participate in the convening at the Atlanta University Center Consortium, Inc. (AUCC) with members of the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC), Groundswell and Citi to learn not only about the longstanding history and contributions of these institutions, but also how partnerships are playing a critical role in helping them successfully tackle affordability issues, realize sustainability goals, build resiliency, and create economic opportunities for their students and surrounding community.

This is an excellent opportunity for sponsors to demonstrate their commitment to equity, as well as network with community and business leaders who share a deep interest in issues of health equity. Now more than ever, our future relies in great part on the gainful participation of all our residents and community leaders. Together, we can make this a reality, not just for Georgia, but also throughout the American South. Thank you for your consideration.
