Happy Sunday!
Does anyone else feel like big change skips a couple years and then suddenly everything is shifting again? Well, I'm back in it again... and it's both exciting and terrifying.
I've been reflecting on some of the biggest lessons I've learned in the past few years, and on how much I've grown. I'm being taught every day how I can handle situations better, how I can change my perspective, how to show up for people, and more than anything, the art of patience.
I've learned that even though we sometimes want to speed up time, the living part is only happening in the present. We want to prep and prepare and have everything planned out, but the reality is that things won't ever go the way we planned them.
Here's my message to you from what I'm working on practicing myself:
Plan things out, because preparation is helpful and it's good to work toward what you want in life. But it's even more important to learn how to flow with what life gives you. Because when you learn to be present and flexible, you'll witness the magic that is life. Life throws curve balls, and that's exactly what's so amazing about it. It's unexpected, crazy and magical.
If you're not in a season of change, and you're in that time where everything is staying the same and you're feeling stuck, remember that it won't stay like this forever. It can't. Nothing ever stays the same for too long. And when it does change, I hope you flow with it and embrace the fact that your life is a fun rollercoaster ride. You're on the ride, so just enjoy it. (Tell me why I just used a rollercoaster analogy when I refuse to go on rollercoasters? 🤪🤷♀️)
Have a great week!
Until next Sunday,
