Back for it's 5th year. The Happy 1 Mile Walk, 5k and 10K is a fundraiser for the Cleveland Heights Youth Scholarship Fund. 100% Pinot Gris

This  time of year is the perfect time to enjoy Pinot Gris and this is one is a classic old school example of the wine. It's a favorite so grab a bottle and enjoy. If you are a wine club member, you're in for a treat. This month we are focusing on two special Pinto Gris wines, one is a beautiful wine from Oregon and the other another beauty from Alsace so you can taste them side by side and do your own little wine tasting! Not a Wine Club member? It's not too late, give us a call or stop in and we'll sign you up. 

Notes:
"The nose shows typical limestone influence, with nice nutty, toasty and slight mineral hints. The palate is powerful and dense and aeration brings out some honey character as well as ripe fruits. The finish is quite velvety. The grapes come from a variety of Zind-Humbrecht's top quality estate vineyards, predominantly Herrenweg. Zind-Humbrecht's dedication to terroir expression guides all winemaking practices. The wine is aged 8 months in 40-year-old French barrels"
