Leadership Montana - Chantel Schieffer

Orientation:

As we welcome you to Leadership Montana, we would like to know what you already know about our organization and learn about your expectations from us.

In your journal, please capture a few thoughts on the following and be ready to share in small groups:

-          What is Leadership Montana?

-          What do I expect from this experience, program, and organization?

For your own private information, please capture a few thoughts about how you’d like to improve your leadership skills over this year. Where are you now? Where do you want to be? Or…who are you now? Who do you want to be?

Montana Issues:

In this session, we will start to preview issues facing Montana that we will dig into throughout the year. To prepare yourself, review the documents in your binder titled “Threats” and “Opportunities”.

News/Notes
We have had one last minute change to your Class. Due to personal circumstances, Jeff Smith will not be joining us this year. While we will greatly miss Jeff, we are very excited to welcome Christi Beals into the Class of 2020! Christi is the Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Director of Inpatient Service at Rimrock Foundation in Billings. Please help us extend a warm welcome!

On Thursday of this session, our photographer Stacy Townsend with Townsend Collective will be taking the first class photo. After the group photo, she will stay and take some professional headshots if there is any interest. If you would like to be on the list for headshots, please email me (Anna) to let me know.

Please let me know how we can help as you prepare for the retreat in Big Sky!

I look forward to seeing you there.

My best,
Anna Berg
