Runway 9/27 Construction Progress
This week of construction has largely consisted of finishing the bituminous paving, spreading topsoil off of the new shoulders, electrical installations, and joint sealing. Additionally, the installation of the new MALSR threshold light bar at its new location was completed. Sweeping equipment has also been operating on the project pavement areas all week in preparation for paint markings early next week. Heading into the weekend, edge light installations and turf restoration is expected to be ongoing.
