About Marin Art Teachers
Professional, convenient, collegial, economical.
Art and general educators and artists who want to enhance their professional development locally and collaboratively can have that opportunity through sponsored guest artist workshops hosted in the art classrooms here in Marin. Workshops feature artists using different media, such as ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, paint, glass, wax and additional methods and materials based on input and response from art teachers.
Workshop times are during weekends several times during the school year.
These workshops are an opportunity for teachers and artists to be in an art making environment, to network with each other, share ideas, learn new techniques, and get inspired.
Registration also open to: teachers of other subjects and the community.
To quote one art teacher, “You mean, I don’t have to go to Arizona for an art workshop?”
