Tuesday, September 17th 

Unless they are in crisis, nonprofits, like most organizations, tend to resist change. After completing this workshop, you will understand the forces behind resistance to change and be able to plan for and execute strategies to help nonprofits implement changes to improve their operations. The workshop will be co-facilitated by SVP Portland’s Learning Facilitator, Steve Maser, and Partner Julie Gray.

Nonprofits increasingly have staff and assist clients from diverse cultures, ethnic and racial backgrounds, and genders. After completing this workshop, you will understand the challenges and strengths that diversity brings to nonprofit operations and be familiar with tools and techniques to incorporate equity concerns and to create an inclusive environment.

Ready, Set, Go! brings parents and their preschoolers together to learn side-by-side. Kids gain confidence and become independent, and their parents or caregivers learn how to support their future success in the classroom. Come see this unique and effective program in action!
