Syrian Refugee Dinner

Are you interested in attending a dinner to support the immigration of a Syrian refugee family? Click here are the details on the Alhumaid family.

As part of the fund raising, a BBQ dinner will be held on Sunday, August 25, at a Unitarian church in Vancouver. Peter Sharpe is in charge of food. You may remember his cooking at the Lyrids Folk Dance Festival after-parties. Peter has designed the menu to be Syrian which, to him, means shawarma style wraps and platters.

Tickets are $15 and, of course, there will be pleas for donations :-)
Click here for information about the dinner.

If you can't come and would like to help out in other ways, awesome!
See how here. They need a total of $30k.
