Parent Update

Calling All New Parents!

If you're new to AYSO or Glenview, don't miss our New Parent Meeting tomorrow night, Aug. 21, from 7-8pm at the Park Center (Lakeview Room B). Coaches and AYSO Board members will give an overview of how our program works and be available to answer questions. Our Playground and U5 divisions (for 3-4 year olds) still have some openings, so if you know a family with younger children who are considering starting soccer, invite them to come and find out more!

A quick reminder to coaches: There will be a Coach Meeting in Lakeview Room B from 8-9pm, and coaches can pick up their team uniforms in Lakeview Room A from 6-8pm.

Stock Up and Save at Dick's

This is the perfect time to stock up on new cleats, socks, shin guards, and all the supplies you'll need for the upcoming season. (Pro tip: try the scented "Sneaker Balls" for sweaty, post-game shoes.) Purchases do not need to be soccer-related, so parents: feel free to shop for yourselves, too!

AYSO Night @ Glenbrook South

Mark your calendars for Sept. 24, when AYSO players are invited to a special night of high-school soccer. AYSO players will have the opportunity to walk onto the field with players from Glenbrook South and Niles West and take part in a group photo. Donations will also be taken that evening to benefit pediatric cancer research. More details and signup to come soon.
