Outlaws Monthly Sunday Meeting

Sunday September 1, 2019 AZ Outlaws Gathering
Meetings are held the 1st Sunday of every month at Panera Bread. The gathering starts around 8-8:30 am, followed by a driving tour for Brunch. Join us for a cup of coffee while you look, talk and enjoy 356's up close with other owners.
NOTE THE NEW MEETING LOCATION
Our new monthly meeting location is the Panera Bread in Phoenix - Camelback Colonade, 1949 E Camelback Rd. 85016.
- South of Camelback on 20th Street on the West side of the street, near the Best Buy store. The restaurant faces 20th Streetb.
- For parking, use the spaces away from the store (towards 20th Street) so we don't block parking access for other customers.
At about 9:00 AM, we will move across 20th Street to the Town and Country Center for brunch at the Snooze Restaurant. With the continuing high temperatures, a short drive (really short drive) is the best choice. See you there!

October 2-6, 2019 356 Registry West Coast Holiday
High Desert Holiday
The Arizona Outlaws are going to host the 2019 West Coast Holiday in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona. This follows an Outlaws tradition of hosting the WCH every ten years.
Registration is closed following a tremendous response. After five days, the event has reached capacity.
Save the dates of October 2-6, 2019.
This will be a big effort and will require the help of many dedicated volunteers to outdo the Holidays of previous years. If you would like to be a part of the Outlaws WCH team or would like to provide a sponsorship, please contact the Outlaws Holiday Committee at HighDesertHoliday@gmail.com.

Peking to Paris 2019 is complete. Our own Nico Samaras (Fourtillfour in Scottsdale) and co-driver Mark Gudaitis not only completed the rally, but somehow found the time to write a detailed blog and take photos during the brutal (BRUTAL!!) event, https://fourtillfour.com/blogs/fourtillfour The pounding these guys and their car took was incredible, you have to check it out. The picture below is in Paris - not sure what kind of beer is stuffed in Nico's overalls pocket, but whatever it is, he earned at least a twelve pack of 'em! Congratulations guys!!! Check out that blog.

Finally, being in Tucson, I don't get up to Phoenix often for the first Sunday Arizona Outlaws gatherings and drives to lunch, but I want to thank Tom Reyman for planning, organizing and leading those events, especially in the Summer months. A lot of work and he is to be commended. Please give him a complimentary fist bump at the next event.
Thanks, and have a great rest of the Summer. Stay hydrated!

Outlaws at Laguna Seca
My friend Dave and I went to Rennsport VI last year and also to one of the fun side events, the Thursday night car show at the Baja Cantina. Great cars, a band, delicious food and funky-cool ambiance. At some point during the evening, I went to use the restroom. As I waited for a vacancy and spent the wait looking at the dozen or more photos of cars that raced at Laguna Seca, my eyes fell on a familiar car and signature.
Yep... Our own Don Tevini in his Devin.
