This week's painting series: TOMATO FLOWERS
We read a wonderful article in The Atlantic about the current tomato season. The writer braided the love for the fruit with statements about sublimation, obsession, and despair. We felt inspired to bring a special floral subject matter for our paintings this week: the little, underrated yellow flower from which the tomato grows.
Everyone is welcome to create a painting for this series, remotely or at one of our workshops.
If you decide to paint remotely, select an image from the portfolio link and let us know which one so we can set it aside just for you.
You're welcome to come up with your own inspiration image.
