'Sterling' yarn has returned! Our natural gray Cotswold sport weight yarn is back from the mill and it was worth the wait!
We're always sad to see summer end but we can start to look forward to more indoor hours spent with our fiber passions! We have some new goodies which will brighten your day even as the leaves drop and nights get longer.
We now carry Oxford Rug Punching needles and books. Spinners - Oxford rug punching is an awesome way to eat up your hand spun leftovers or yarn that just doesn't have a purpose yet! (And we all have totes full of that kind of yarn <wink>) Andy makes gorgeous cherry wood frames for this in several sizes (and is happy to make custom sizes) and we have even put together a beginner's kit if you are new to the craft.
We continue to be a provider of Cotswold fiber - raw fleece all the way to yarn - for the Livestock Conservancy's 'Shave 'Em to Save 'Em' initiative. With raw fleece, natural or dyed roving, and yarn, we can supply your Cotswold needs and we have stickers for your passport.
Our big, floofy spinning batts have been very popular and we have bags of picked Cotswold ready to put on the carder. We still have some lovely raw fleeces which haven't been spoken for, and wool is always going out and coming back from the mill so who knows what roving will be on the shelf next!
Our next festivals will be the Finger Lakes Fiber Festival in September and Rhinebeck in October. Are you taking classes and need tools? There's a blending board class at FLFF and rug hooking classes at Rhinebeck. Order now and you can pick up there to save shipping!
