Did you know that we had our first kids worship service ten years ago on May 16, 2009? One by One has grown and changed a lot in the last decade, but among other things, we still meet every Saturday morning to connect kids with Christ and worship with them!

Praise God for His faithfulness, and thank you for your support! We pray we'll still be here serving God with you for the next ten!

Thoughts from our staff

Dan Quigley might technically a blogger now but was also officially named One by One's Executive Director earlier this year.

We recently launched the One by One blog, where members of our staff share their perspectives and experiences in ministry, and where we explore deeper things like what poverty is (and isn't) and what's special about Nicaragua.

The most recent post (at the time of this writing) is by Dan Quigley, who was named Executive Director earlier this year. Check out what our other ministry heads and part-time staff have to say too!

Giving opportunities

Volunteer supplies

Weekly attendance at our Niños de Vida program on Saturdays goes up and down at times, but the amount of kids and youth wanting to commit to serving there has been steadily on the rise. We serve a small meal at the end of the kids' service, and we also provide a volunteer t-shirt to all the regular adolescent volunteers. With the growing number of volunteers, we don't always have enough for them.

We want to encourage our young helpers and let them know that they are appreciated. In order to do so, however, we need more monthly funding. Will you help?

Basic facility fix-up

Our big green building has been a huge blessing to us since our formation in 2009. In keeping with good stewardship, we want to keep its appearance in line with the beautiful life moments that happen inside. The best part is that we already have a group of youth who are more than willing to volunteer and help us with the cleaning and painting. We just need the supplies.

The estimated cost to do some basic refurbishing is $1300. That’s about the same as the cost of sending one person on a short-term mission trip! Will you help?
