What's Interesting About This Concert?

If Love is a Battlefield...
Then consider the Symphony your army as we rock our way through anthems like Piece of my HeartNatural WomanI Feel the Earth MoveProud Mary, and so much more.

Who Run the World?
It’s no small task to live up to the voices of Aretha, Janis, Tina, Carole, and all the rock goddesses we are celebrating at this concert, but the ladies of WOMEN ROCK are more than up for the challenge. Shayna Steele has performed with Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, and has a new solo album out now, “Watch Me Fly.” Cassidy Catanzaro, a front woman in her own right as head of Antigone Rising, has appeared with Demi Lovato and toured with the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. Singer Brie Cassil has a long list of Music Theater credits on stage in NYC and all across the country, and is the leader singer of REBEL.

Bravery in the Face of Tragedy
Returning to the stage following a tragic car accident, ICT front woman Jenny Wood will make a special comeback appearance with the Wichita Symphony to perform one of her original songs as part of our celebration of women that rock the world.
