VicHealth consultation for MPHWP and IHP Plans
You are invited to participate in an online consultation survey, targeting health planners or health promotion practitioners who play a role in the development of Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans OR Integrated Health Promotion Plans. The online survey will be open until 11.59pm Friday 30 August 2019.
VicHealth provides data, information and funding to local communities to support them in improving health and wellbeing for Victorians. VicHealth has contracted the Australian Institute for Primary Care & Ageing (AIPCA) from La Trobe University to conduct a consultation to gain feedback from health planners in local government, community health and primary care partnerships to assist with relevant and timely provision of support for local communities.

What does the survey ask about?
The online survey will capture feedback about:
- the data used to inform local health planning (Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans or Integrated Health Promotion Plans) and any gaps in the available data,
- the role of health equity in your planning, and
- what support from VicHealth would assist you in your planning role.
You will also be asked if you can provide information regarding any particularly effective local actions in improving a target populations health.
Completing the survey
The survey is designed to be completed by people who play a planning role in the development of Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plans or Integrated Health Promotion Plans. Surveys should be submitted by 11:59pm Friday 23 August.
The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
