The Kell Palletti Memorial Ride

join us this Saturday, August 24 at 9:30am to remember Kell and the other riders we've lost on the roadways

This Saturday, we're meeting at Seneca Park and riding out to Westport Road to remember Kell Palletti, a Louisvillian who was struck and killed a year ago while riding his bike home from work.

In remembering Kell, we hope to raise awareness for all victims of traffic violence -- pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers -- and for the importance that safe roadway design plays in preventing needless deaths.

We will be meeting in Seneca Park (at the intersection of Rock Creek Dr and Chamberry Dr) at 9:30am. The ride pace will be casual, and the route will be on smaller, neighborhood roads. After the ride, we'll return to the park for a picnic that will include Kell's family and friends.

Everyone is welcome! We'll have plenty of pizza, water, and Gatorades for everyone! We hope to see you there.
