CHEERS

FGL's Tyler Hubbard shared this amazing news on Insta: "Words can’t describe the overwhelming emotions that I experienced last night as we witnessed the miracle of life. I couldn’t be more proud of my amazing wife @hayley_hubbard through this whole journey. She’s an absolute angel and meant to be a mother. I thank God for answering our prayers and bringing Luca into the world peacefully and smoothly. I didn’t think life could get any better but it just did. Thank you @katiekauss for catching these moments and @people for telling our story."

ON THE HOUSE

One of the most entertaining sets on tour right now is Chris Lane's. Talk about a guy who knows how to work a crowd. From bringing up a young fan on stage and serenading her to "For Her" to taking a lap around the amphitheater during "Take Back Home Girl" - there isn't a single moment of time wasted. And man does he get some legit screams/shrieking from the ladies. Also have to say, observationally, it says a lot about Brad Paisley, who Chris is opening for, that he has so much freedom and leeway to do these engaging things during his set. A lot of headlining acts put restrictions/limitations on what their opening acts can do but Brad gives Chris the whole stage to put on the most entertaining performance possible. Brad once told me, his philosophy on this was that his responsibility is to give his fans the best possible show from start-to-finish. That's the kind of guy Brad is - his audience comes first. What a concept.

FRONT OF THE HOUSE

The town of Erie, Pennsylvania came out in force to see Scotty McCreery’s headlining performance at the city’s annual Celebrate Erie event. The crowd packed five blocks in Downtown Erie between 4th and 9th Avenues in order to watch Scotty's concert!

NEAT

Randy Travis continues to deliver to his fans with a new single from the Warner Archives, “Lead Me Home.” In true Travis style, he takes his traditional country roots and combines them with bluegrass influences. Following “One in a Row,” this is one of a select few singles to be released since a massive stroke in 2013, which has affected his ability to perform.
