The Hungarian Army receives vital reinforcements to defend against enemy armour. Enter the Pak 40, Solothurn anti-tank rifle and the Panzerschreck. These weapons were imperative for success on the eastern front against Soviet Mechanised legions.
The Solothurn S-18/100 anti-tank rifle was a cross between a true anti-tank rifle and a light anti-tank gun.
The Panzerschreck was one of the many man-portable anti-tank weapons developed to combat the increasingly thick armour of tanks.
The Hungarians made use of the PaK 40 to fulfil the anti-tank needs of infantry formations faced by increasing numbers of Soviet tanks. This gun was very effective for this purpose and was desperately needed to blunt the impact of Soviet armour on the Eastern Front.
Lightly equipped but on home soil, this army will be a tough force to dislodge from a city or defensive position. Send in your veteran paratroopers on the flanks to cause maximum casualties and break any attack. This is a perfect starting point for a Hungarian force.

Built as a need to more effectively transport troops under the hail of American aircraft, the No.1- Class Fast Transport launches for the IJN in Cruel Seas.
The IJN is an interesting mixture of the very sophisticated and the very amateur. It is a do or die force; get in close and things will go well, dither or maintain distance and enemy firepower will overwhelm you. This Fleet set gets you started with the IJN with a great variety of vessels.

Wellington and Picton come to the battlefields of Black Powder with these highly characterful sculpts. Wellington comes in both his full mounted majesty and a pose in which he is taking a well-earned rest. Picton is attired as he was at Waterloo, as his luggage with military uniform had failed to arrive prior to the battle.
If you want to learn a little about the Duke of Wellington, you can find that article here.
Both Wellington & Picton will need troops to lead in their Waterloo Campaign. This army set gives you a fantastic starting British force, in the Waterloo attire, for battles of Black Powder 2nd Edition.
Or return to the earlier days of the Napoleonic Wars in which Wellington & Picton both distinguished themselves as military leaders. This Starter Army is ideal if your focus is on the Peninsular Campaigns.

We are reaching the conclusion of our epic D-Day 75th Anniversary Campaign. It's been a hard-fought affair by both Allied and Axis commanders. This Bank Holiday weekend is your last chance to influence the outcome of the campaign. Make sure to register your results by Monday 26th August.

Today we bring to you the last of our scenarios; the final of our trio of Maquis vs 325th Security Forces mini-campaign, and of course the final liberation of Paris.
All is lost for the 325th, Allied forces pour into the city, and the Maquis press their attacks with renewed zeal. Can the Germans escape the partisans? You may want to induct your survivors of the 325th into the next scenario...
This is it. The Falaise pocket has been closed, Normandy has been liberated, and Allied forces swarm largely unimpeded into Paris. The last defence has begun.
