Dear Valued Shippers,

Please take note of the following IMPORTANT Announcement;

The General Management of Customs Authorities in Benin (See Attached) has announced and made it a requirement for ALL Cargos that will discharge in Benin/Cotonou on and/or after September 1st, 2019 will require a Cargo Tracking Note (CTN).

Sallaum Lines has worked very hard over the past few weeks to find a hassle free solution for it’s Valued Shippers, but unfortunately we are yet to find such solution.

Therefore, it’s the shipper’s responsibility to supply the Carrier with the CTN, which MUST be input in our booking system (see below) 7 days prior to discharge. Any late submissions/input of CTN’s into the LogiSoft booking system will result in Manifest Corrections Fees for both the USA and Benin/Cotonou.

Cargo that arrives to Benin/Cotonou without a CTN, cargo will not be discharged in Benin/Cotonou and will be discharged in Lome and all related costs including but not limited to Manifest Corrections, Trans Shipping to Benin/Cotonou will be the responsibility of the shipper.

Please review our Schedule below, first Voyage that will require CTN will be Glovis Star 19OT01with ETA to Benin/Cotonou September 15th, 2019.
