Jeanne Blasberg's second novel The Nine was published by She Writes Press. She completed the draft in Lisa Border's Novel Generator class and worked on revisions in classes with Henriette Lazadaris and Michael Marano. Christopher Castellani was also extremely helpful in talking through ideas for the opening chapter.
Incubator Graduate
Jennifer Marie Donahue's non-fiction piece "Halo" was published on Pidgeonholes. Deborah Milstein's essay "The Celebration of a Lifetime" ran in Boston Globe Magazine. She would like to thank instructors Calvin Hennick and Britni de la Cretaz for their encouragement. Novel Incubator Graduate Susan Bernhard received the Julia Ward Howe Award in Fiction from the The Boston Authors Club for her novel Winter Loon.. She is grateful for GrubStreet's ongoing support and for the love and encouragement from everyone in the Novel Incubator program.
Kimi Ceridon's piece "Motorcycle Riding through Grief and Separation" will be published in the Fall issue of Snapdragon: A Journal of Art and Healing. She thanks "Writing to Heal" instructor Jennifer Crystal and Master Memoir instructor Dorian Fox. Grace Lapointe's essay "'Light is the Left Hand of Darkness': Deconstructing Gender Binarisms" was included on the syllabus of a college literature course. Mimi Lemay's memoir What We Will Become received a star review on Publisher's Weekly. She took Alysia Abbot's Master Memoir course.
