Your kid FO-GOT it?
Mom, forget about it 🤷‍♀️

My family is in the back-to-school swing and, I don't know about you guys, but every morning one of the boys is yelling, "Mom, where is my sweatshirt, or water bottle or my penis?" Well... not exactly, but, I swear they'd forget where they put it if it was anatomically possible. Want to break the cycle and teach your child responsibility? Know this:

A CHILD WHO FORGETS THINGS HAS A PARENT WHO ALWAYS REMEMBERS!

So, if your kids are like mine, the next time this happens, just take a deep breath mama and don't say a word. Instead take a huge gulp of your coffee because you're going to need it. Then, here is your battle plan...

Count to 10 as your kid keeps yelling, "MOM!!!!!"

Don't try to find it. Calmly say, "Where did you last see it?"

Stop talking; drink that coffee.

Kindly ask, "Where/when did you last see xyz?"

Walk away. Lovingly gaze at your pretty face while you brush your teeth.

As the "Mom!" battle cry escalates, sweetly say, "I'm sorry you lost your whatever you lost... find a replacement because we gots ta go in five minutes."

Now, remind yourself just because your child is having a dipsh$t moment doesn't mean he is one or you're raising one.

This, my lovelies is an example of a GIT Mom coaching session and how I help moms Get It Together. Consider it a little teaser for the GIT Mom book I'm releasing in October.

Stay tuned for weekly updates on my social media because I've never written a book, and as you guys have been my very loyal followers over the last six years I'm excited to share this experience with you. Also, I need your help with just about everything... the title, chapter names, you name it. Let's do it together!

We just shot the back cover picture so get ready to vote for the one that wins this week. Stay tuned to weekly votings, and let's write a book! I'm pumped and proud and scared. I need your support.
