Heirloom tomatoes are headlining our vegetable offering again this week and we will be beginning to harvest another round of carrots as well. Just click the big blue button below to place an order before Thursday at midnight. All orders submitted by this time will be prepared for pick up on Saturday morning from 9am to 12pm at 434 Ave D South.
Reminder: If you have empty plastic clamshell containers or red mesh bags from your past orders, please rinse them out and return them the next time you stop by the farm. These packaging items can be reused many times with your help. Thank you.
At this time of year, we have cases of tomatoes available at a discounted rate for those of you who would like to make your own salsas or sauces. Cases will be primarily filled with Moskvich tomatoes, a red Russian heirloom with smooth texture and rich flavour. We will pack 5kg (11lb) boxes for $45 and 10kg (22lb) boxes for $80. Tomato cases are not listed on the order form above because we have a limited supply. If you would like to request one, just reply to this email to express your interest and specify which size you would like. That way I can confirm that we have a case available for you before you submit your payment.
