Upcoming ABC: Always B Collaborating Events
 Are you interested in connecting with other employees of Certified B Corps working in similar areas and functions? We started the ABC: Always B Collaborating event series through B Local PDX to give B Corp employees employees working in similar roles, functions, and departments a venue to meet and collaborate.
ABC meetups provide a venue to discuss opportunities, challenges, and best practices as well as collaborate on collective initiatives. These groups are open to employees of current Certified B Corps, organized by members of our community, and supported by B Local PDX.

The ABC: Marketing group is for anyone working in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, media, and more! We come together to learn best practices and share ideas about how to amplify our social impact and B Corp message. We also collaborate on shared initiatives to elevate our local B Corp community and brand. Join us at our next meeting to discuss next steps for a collaborative advertising & public awareness campaign around B Local PDX & B Corps!
ABC: Impact & Sustainability Reporting

Our main goal is to network, exchange knowledge and expertise on sustainability, impact & CSR reporting and best practices. Everything from GRI to SDGs to SASB - we've got your back. It doesn't matter if you work in operations, environmental, marketing, HR, quality, H&S, community affairs, or communications - and if you're a passionate novice or a ''love-to-share" advocate, we welcome you to attend. We offer a platform for open discussion and best practice exchange.

This is a working group for B Corp professionals interested in human resources, sourcing and internal culture issues. The August ABC HR & Culture topic is: Employee Handbook Show and Tell. Bring your own lunch for our August ABC HR gathering and join fellow HR leaders for an employee handbook show and tell. Come prepared to share existing policies you're proud of, policies you're pursuing or on your wishlist, and any challenges you're having.

B Local PDX is Seeking Leaders & Interested Members for New ABC Groups!
Don't see a group yet covering a particular area of interest? Want to start a new ABC? Email us at info@blocalpdx.com to create a new one, and we'll help you find others in our community working in a similar space! ABC's are organized by B Corps, for B Corps, and we rely on volunteers to take the lead to gather people together.
We have lists of B Corp employees interested in the following areas but no groups officially yet formed—so reach out to us now to take the lead on organizing meetups for these groups! We'll help you get going, and our friends at Fully have even offered to help with hosting the first meeting!

B Corp Night at the Oregon Food Bank
with Northwest Permanente
Thursday, October 17| 5:30-8:30 PM
Northwest Permanente would like to invite members of our fellow B Corp community to volunteer with us on B Corp night at the Oregon Food Bank in Beaverton on Thursday, October 17th. Pizza & networking will start at 5:30pm, with the volunteer shift going from 6:00-8:30pm. Please send your name, phone number, and which certified B Corp you work for. We have 50 available spots, so please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot.
