The ACM Teen members of Gen Z Speaks: A Right to the City Youth Project will perform their own written pieces on gentrification and the African-American journey in America through spoken word. Attention, single men and women: This is your new date-night move. The Graham Georgetown's (1075 Thomas Jefferson Street NW) new full-service restaurant, Rooftop EATS, debuted this week on the hotel roof. New executive chef John Waldy's menu includes everything from avocado crab toast, to a pork belly bowl, edamame hummus, ricotta flatbread, and cauliflower tacos. Rooftop EATS will offer lunch, plus small bites for dinner. In addition to the new restaurant, Chef Waldy will oversee in-room dining and the daily menu at The Alex Speakeasy.
