Dear Parents,
Welcome back to Fabyan! Our Falcons arrived last Wednesday ready-to-go and full of enthusiasm!
Please join me in welcoming our new staff this year:

Student Safety is our #1 priority! Please utilize the crosswalks, driving slowly and carefully in our parking lot when dropping off and picking up your child. Use of cell phones is prohibited in any school zone. Students who walk or bike should always use the crosswalk southwest of the school on Grengs Lane. Any student who rides a bike to school is asked to walk their bicycle from the end of the path to the bicycle racks. We truly value our partnership with you in the safe arrival and dismissal of your children.
We continually work to have a close relationship and strong lines of communication with our local emergency responders. In building this relationship, there will frequently be a presence of police personnel during school hours in the area.
At the end of February, all Fabyan students K-5 will have the opportunity to participate in the Mutual Ground Personal Body Safety curriculum. Our school district and Mutual Ground will be providing a parent night on October 8th at Williamsburg Elementary. Click here for more information.
MAP testing will begin next week for 1st-5th grade students. Our MAP testing will run from Tuesday September 3rd-Monday September 9th. We will do make-up testing the week of September 9th.
Our Fabyan Facts newsletter is published every other Sunday. The Facts are filled with important and exciting information from our staff and PTO.
We are excited to announce that Fabyan Elementary will be partnering with Lifetouch School Photography for the 2019-20 school year. Look for email notifications coming soon with all of the details on how to create your own packages! Fabyan school picture day is September 13th.
