Gail Albers shared her giving story at the Fall River Society's Ice Cream Social last weekend. Gail has created a planned gift to a local nonprofit that has made a positive impact on her family's time together in the mountains. EPNRC has created a portrait of Gail (and her story) that has been gifted to the organization she supports.
Anyone making a planned gift to an Estes Valley Legacy organization is invited to be a member of the town wide Fall River Society, a group that inspires planned giving to others. Estes Valley Legacy is a donor-centric collaborative of 14 local nonprofits. They are in a campaign year to create or uncover 100 new planned gifts. 53 have been reported to date! This campaign ends on National Philanthropy Day, November 14.

ColoradoGives -
New Nonprofit Enrollment Ends August 30

This hugely successful online giving option powers your nonprofit and multiplies your good. ColoradoGives.org is our year-round, online giving website featuring the missions, programs and finances of more than 2,500 Colorado nonprofits. CO Gives day is a state wide fundraiser for all those registered.

Enrollment for new nonprofits runs from March to August 30. Please visit the eligibility section of Co Gives site to learn more.

EPNRC introduces EstesVolunteers.org at an Open House on September 10, 8am-noon at the Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies.
This connector site will match up the skills and interests of volunteers with the nonprofit organizations that rely on them. AND there is a nonprofit calendar function. Did you get that?! Imagine if nonprofits put up their holiday parties now so that other nonprofits don't plan a holiday party for the same audience at the same time. Brilliant.

Nonprofits: please create a profile and post your opportunities and events so volunteers can find you! Quick and easy, but if you need any help, contact Alison.

Volunteers: Get on EstesVolunteers.org, set up a profile and find new opportunities. Otherwise, come to the Open House and we will gladly do it with you!
Special Agency Updates Lunch + Learn on October 29.

This week we delivered plants to Harmony Foundation, EVICS and here is Sue from the Learning Place. Big Thanks for being part of the Forest of Philanthropy! We will have more starts again at our Volunteer Open House September 10, 8am-noon.
