Highlights include: Rennie Harris’ Lazarus (Programme A) using hip hop language and the music of Nina Simone to explore the life of the company’s founder, as well as Jamar Roberts’ Members Don’t Get Weary (Programme C), an abstract look at the notion of “having the blues” set to the music of John Coltrane.
