Offering a series of continuing education courses for seasoned practitioners and service design newbies alike, our academy is committed to advancing practitioner knowledge by sharing insights on the latest tools, methods and techniques shaping the future of our industry.

New Side Events at SDGC19 in Toronto.

We're continuously adding new side events to the program of the Service Design Global Conference. There's a service design tour showing you Toronto's leading SD studios. Our sponsors Fjord, bridgeable and livework are offering exciting masterclasses in cooperation with the SDN Academy. The Canadian Digital Services will show you how to build service maps. The Service Design Award Shortlist Is Out!

We are incredibly pleased to announce that this year's Service Design Award finalists have been selected by our international jury of service design experts! We can't wait to present those outstanding case studies to you on the main stage of the Service Design Global Conference in Toronto this October. You can already have a look on our website. Each single one of them is a strong example of first class service design, ranging from commercial to non-profit to student project.

Case Study

First Case Study on New SDN Case Study Library

SDN Accredited Trainer Molly Fuller is the first of our members to publish a case study on the new SDN Case Study Library! Her study explores the leveraging of Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics to make business decisions and drive experience innovation. Using tools such as storyboarding, service mapping and blueprints, Molly and team created a concrete strategy with actionable metrics to quickly identify problem areas and implement changes.
