Sources and Impacts of air pollution

Air pollution can have a harmful effect on human health. Weather conditions in London are largely responsible for levels of pollutants in the air we breathe. Pollution can be blown away or damped down during windy, wet days, but can build up during calmer days, leading to pollution episodes. To protect yourself from high levels of air pollution, find out how to use the Daily Air Quality Index which provides air pollution forecasts for London. Read the short guide put together by London Air.
