It is possible to unplug and still have fun! Try out a new tabletop game, grab a snack, and have fun with your friends. Today's game is Grackles, an abstract strategy game about birds on a telephone wire.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Tuesday, September 17th at 7 p.m.

TAB meets with the Teen Services Librarian once a month to discuss all things teen for Darien Library. They are responsible for assisting the Library through volunteering at events, helping plan and run Library programs, and acting as a sounding board for new ideas. Plus, there will be pizza! Interested? Join us at the first meeting of the school year!

TAB is open to teens grades 6 and up.

Intro to Dungeons & Dragons

Wednesday, September 18th at 4:30 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to travel the mystical lands of a new world or conquer evil and become a hero? Become a part of the Dungeons and Dragons Club at Darien Library! Middle school students are invited to join us at this introductory session where we will learn the basics of D&D. Have a snack, design your character, and help us decide the dates for our first campaign.

Celebrate your freedom to read during Banned Books Week at Darien Library! Learn all about YA books that have been challenged or banned around the US, eat snacks, and win prizes along the way.
