Health, Stewardship and Wills & Trust Services
1. August 1-31, 2019 CELEBRATIONS – Emphasis on Temperance & Responsibility.

2. EJC Health Ministries 5-week Advanced Lay Medical Missionary Training is entering into its final phase. Training climaxes on August 18, 2019.
3. Are you Ready? The Annual Good Samaritan Health Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019. The race begins at the Andrews Memorial SDA Church. Main proceeds are in aid of the Good Samaritan Inn. Warm-up: 6am | Start Time: 6:30am. Register today by selecting the link below! 

4. Health Ministries Week will be celebrated from September 14-21, 2019. Sermons are available on our website under Documents in the Health Ministries Department.

5. Health Ministries Day/HIV AIDS Day will be November 7, 2019, and not December 7 as was previously communicated.

1. Women’s Retreat October 18-21, 2019 @ Jewel Runaway Bay. Kindly note that final payments are URGENTLY NEEDED. Theme: “Women Enlightened  Empowered  Engaged”
 
2. ASI Missionaries departed for Guyana on Wednesday, July 31 to return on Monday, August 26. We need your prayers and support for the humanitarian project.

3. Family Togetherness Week  (In churches)  September 8 – 15, 2019 Theme: “Reaching Families for Jesus, Strengthening Disciples”.

Ministerial Department
1. The Ministerial Department in association with the Youth and Children's Ministries Departments present the 2019 Heritage & Bible Quiz. Please note that the requirements have been adjusted. Books to be studied are the Church Heritage Manual, sections 11-15 and Revelation 1-12. See the poster for further details. 
Education Department
1. Registration for all SDA prep schools continues.  Please contact them for detail. Hagley Park Prep’s new telephone number is (876) 431-2775 and Miramar Kinder-Prep is (876) 941-3342.
The administration also extends heartiest congratulations to all our members who graduated  last week-end from Northern Caribbean Univeristy after successfully completing their course of study.  We are proud of your achievement and wish for you continued success in the years to come.

Communication Department
 All communication leaders are  specially invited to our first Communication Workshop for the year on Sunday, August 25, 2019.  Our focus will be on news writing and  how   photography can be used to assist in membership retention. 

Please take along your laptops and digital cameras where possible and come prepared to share what you have been doing in your departments since the strat of the year.
