Tāmaki Makaurau Anarchists
Kia ora subscribers, apologies for the 22nd Auckland activist fortnightly newsletter being late, as our usual newsletter writer is on a much-needed holiday!

The occupation at Ihumātao is ongoing, so please keep looking at Save Our Unique Landscape/SOUL's social media for updates on the situation, material needs, carpooling and what mahi they need you to do to help them reclaim the whenua! Ka whawhai tonu matou! Ake ake ake!

In other news, major events that will be happening in the next couple weeks include the Official Animal Rights March 2019 this coming Saturday at Mahuhukiterangi Reserve and the first hui by Tauiwi mō Matike Mai Aotearoa on Saturday 24 August at Ihumātao following Moana Jackson's korero last month on how Tauiwi can work towards Matike Mai. As usual there's plenty happening in Auckland so get stuck in to it!
We are an explicitly anarchist group in Auckland, about a year old, struggling for a better, fair and equal world. We are always open to new members. To find out more, come along to a public meeting, or you can find us at tamakimakaurauanarchists@gmail.com.
