Join Run 4 Farmer Health at the 2019 Melbourne Marathon!
If you still haven't registered, now is the time. Dust off your running shoes, limber up and join us at our annual Run 4 Farmer Health!
As a Run 4 Farmer Health team member, you’re invited to join us at the team village marquee to enjoy a post run massage / physio treatment (please BYO towel).
With events ranging from a leisurely 3km walk, right through to a full marathon there is a distance for everyone. All events finish with a victory lap of the iconic MCG and one thing is guaranteed—you’ll have accomplished something great!
So come and join us and support the programs that make a difference to farmers’ lives.

As part of Women’s Health Week (September 2-6th, 2019), the National Centre for Farmer Health has partnered with Gen Health, Western District Health Service and the Jean Hailes Foundation to bring you ‘Ladies Let’s Talk’. This is a girls’ night out with local field experts discussing all things Women’s Health. Come and join us from 6.30pm on Friday 6th September for a panel discussion while enjoying drinks and nibbles at the WDHS Education Centre. Limited tickets are available ($25).
This month we are heading to Agricultural Field Days in Victoria and New South Wales thanks to the support of Agriculture Victoria, Lions Club of Strzelecki and Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network.
The free 20-minute health and lifestyle assessment involves cholesterol, blood glucose and blood pressure readings, diabetes risk, BMI, measure of wellbeing and eyesight testing along with education on health behaviours and safety practices.
