Relaxation
It's #NationalRelaxationDay, and we all know that the general go-to relaxation method for many is alcohol. But we also know that the feeling of relaxation that we get from alcohol is only very temporary, and will in fact increase feelings of anxiety, heighten blood pressure and reduce the quality of our sleep.

If you're looking for new ways to relax in place of drinking, here are a few ideas from our members:

Meditation, yoga, running, swimming, walking, pets, knitting, DIY, bubble bath, cup of tea, painting, crochet, mechanics, television, golf, colouring, gardening, music, jigsaw puzzles, baking.
